That's why we strictly follow IATA (International Air Transport Association) regulations, airline policies, customs laws, and global courier guidelines. Before you ship, please take a moment to review the important information below—it's designed to help make your international shipping experience smooth and worry-free.

 Prohibited Items (Not Accepted for Carriage)

We absolutely cannot ship the following items internationally, no matter the circumstances:

• Explosives, fireworks, detonators, ammunition
• Flammable liquids, gases, fuels, petrol, kerosene
• Toxic, poisonous, radioactive, or corrosive substances
• Narcotics, drugs, psychotropic substances
• Alcohol, liquor, wine, beer (unless legally approved)
• Pornographic or obscene materials
• Counterfeit goods, fake branded items
• Live animals, insects, plants, seeds
• Human remains, ashes, body parts
• Cash, currency notes, coins
• Gold, silver, precious metals, diamonds
• Illegal items banned by origin or destination country

 Shipment containing prohibited items will be seized or destroyed without compensation.

 IATA Restricted / Dangerous Goods

The following items are restricted under IATA regulations and may be accepted only with prior approval, proper documentation, and special packing:

• Lithium batteries (mobile, laptop, power banks)
• Perfumes, deodorants, aerosols
• Paints, varnish, ink
• Chemicals, laboratory samples
• Magnetized materials
• Dry ice
• Medical devices with batteries

 Fragile & Perishable Items Policy

Examples of fragile items:

• Glass items
• Ceramics, crockery
• Electronic items
• Artwork, mirrors
• Musical instruments

Important Notes:

• Fragile items are shipped at sender’s risk
• Proper packing is mandatory
• No liability for damage caused during transit
• Insurance is optional and limited

Perishable items (food, sweets, homemade items) are accepted only on customer risk and subject to destination customs clearance.

 Conditions of Carriage

By booking a shipment with Shadow Overseas, the sender agrees that:

• Contents are legally permitted for export/import
• Accurate declaration of contents & value is provided
• Customs duties, taxes, or penalties (if any) are payable by sender/receiver
• Delivery timelines are estimated, not guaranteed
• Company is not liable for delays due to customs, weather, airline, or government actions
• Compensation, if applicable, is limited as per courier or airline policy

 Customs & Legal Compliance

• Customs clearance is subject to destination country laws
• Shadow Overseas is not responsible for customs rejection or seizure
• KYC documents may be required (Aadhar, PAN, Passport, Invoice)
